Tears of joy

The Safari was out last night as dusk became night and we stopped and listened when we heard the shrill scream of a Swift nearby. A moment later we saw a dark shape blitz through the light of the streetlamp and disappear under the roof tiles of a neighbours house - then within a couple of minutes another scream and another Swift zoomed in to the gap.
Nesting? Oh we really hope so!!! Putting our swift-box up seems to have frightened them off.
A simple thing but enough to make a grown man cry.
No pics today far too busy in the office and the sea was dead flat and dead quiet, just a couple of Grey Seals.
Where to next? Little opportunity to do much safari-ing again tomorrow but you never know your luck in a raffle as they say.
In the meantime let us know what's whizzing round the roof-tops in your  outback.
