Numbers game

The Safari heard then saw the Peregrine for the first time in a while on Patch 1 this morning but that was as far as any interest went.
Rain freezing on the windscreen made the drive to work rather horrid! AND we missed the Starlings leaving the pier.
On Patch 2 counting in tens we got 650 plus another 24 Oystercatchers, if our tens were more like dozens then there would have been 20% more of them = 780 + the 24. At least a couple of thousand more over our southern border too!
A small group of gulls sitting on the beach included an argentatus Herring Gull which looked miserable in the drizzle with a drip of rain on the tip of its bill.
No lunchtime safari today.
Where to next? More cold wet rain to endure?
In the meantime let us know what had a drip on the end of its beak in your outback.
