Look who's hanging around

The Safari learned late in the afternoon that a Peregrine was seen by an ‘interloper’ on to Patch 2 (SD) at a time we are often out on the sea-wall but not today, and it’s not a species guaranteed to be seen on the patch over the course of a year!
We had decided not to go out that early as it was still very dark, in fact it hardly got light all day, and it was raining.
We were in electronic conversation with one of our wildlife reporters about a Goldcrest he’s been seeing in his garden. Apparently it has been using his feeders, minutes later another email arrived with the following pictures attached. Can’t ever remember having seen that behaviour from them anywhere else.
Has anyone witnessed Goldcrests using feeders before; do Kinglets do it in N. America? It might be more likely if it was cold but it is spring-like mild at the moment.

Many thanks to GQ for giving us permission to post his pics.
We thought about going out to Ptch 2 as it brightened upa little at about 09.15 but as it happened we got to the front door and took one look out and opted to come straight back inside such were the miserable conditions out there...and it was no better, worse even, at lunchtime. So no safari at all today.
Where to next? Much better  conditions forecast tomorrow so we should be out on Patch 2.
In the meantime let us know who's learned to take advantage of the feeders that perhaps shouldn't be in your outback.

I've never seen a kinglet at a feeder over here!

It also has barely gotten light here the last two days, and today hasn't stopped raining. Not exactly inviting weather....hope we both get some sunshine soon!
