Extreme woodland

The Safari hasn't been able to get out today so instead enjoy some our Extreme Photographer's exploits in a woodland not far from here.

Shame about the shadow of the twig in this one
If you behave he might let us have some of the other species he photographed there.
Where to next? There's a bit  of a hooley on the way, wonder if it'll bring anything in range of the scope at Patch2 and if so will we be able to stand up to look for it.
In the meantime let us know what's messing with old leaves in your outback

I love the fact there are so may nuthatches in the NW these days, a scarce bird there when I was young.....

Apart from a couple of sites they were unheard of round our way just north of Liverpool when I was birding after school Stu

Excellent photos from The Extreme there Dave. Love the mating shot, what a fantastic moment to witness.

BTW - we had 2 Chiff Warblers or Willow Chaffs in the garden for a few minutes yesterday morning, they avoided the camera though.
