Was that it?

Before the Safari goes any further have a blimp at this arty shot of the Herb Robert growing in the garden. Wifey hates it as a 'weed' but the bees, hoverflies etc love it so its staying - nearly finished for this season anyway but there'll be plenty more next year.
The Safari noticed a bizarre con trail yesterday - it appeared that the pilot had forgotten his butties and had to go back for them! All the way to America, which is in the direction of the bottom left of the pic. He'd done a complete 'U'ey.
Nope he's changed his mind and has decided it's too far he'll have to wait until he gets to his destination or put up with the airline food.
On closer inspection you'll see he's actually gone round twice! It was at this point that the bins revealed it was actually a fighter jet not a commercial airliner.
Fed up of going round in circles he's off!
Not something we see every day! All the clouds observed in that lovely blue sky yesterday were man-made. Not so today the natural clouds are giving us plenty of much needed rain and the temperature has plummeted, leaving us to ask have we had our summer were those few sunny days it for this year?
Whilst watching the meanderings of the plane we noticed a Magpie on next door's roof - not a species we get pics of very often; they are very wary here and just won't keep still. This one, however, sat up there for ages rattling away at its other family members on a different rooftop. Our neighbour usually rushes out and claps his hands in an attempt to keep them out of his garden cos they eat 'his' baby Blackbirds. Then he moans when the surviving Blackbirds eat his Red Currants!
Good lichens he has up by that apex.
These are the pair of Woodpigeons which are having a break from nest building in the Sycamore tree. Well they only use about 20 sticks so it can't take em too long!Where to next? Maybe more safari-ing later if the sunshine returns.
In the meantime let us know who's been going round in circles in your outback.
