The Safari woke up to more snow, or so we thought...it wasn't snow it was a hoar frost and have covered everything with a Christmas card whiteness due to the dense freezing fog. Never seen town looking so pretty. Here are some views of base camp taken mid afternoon on our way to replace the over-sized battery.

Wonder if we'll ever see the like again....probably next week.
This is the back garden and the only trees for miles in this direction now.
Someone didn't bring the laundry in last night and this morning it was like a row of crisps.

Today's only wildlife news was a little weird. We attended an event at the local 6th form college, while we were chatting to the organisers in the dining room two Snipe flew past the window over the empty, surprise surprise, outdoor eating area.
Where to next? Be nice to be able to see something rather than just thick fog tomorrow...here's hoping.
In the meantime stay warm where-ever you are unless of course your in the warmer parts of the southern hemisphere in which case stay cool.

It was the same here Dave, but the man-flu put pay to me enjoying it.

I've experienced freezing rain but never freezing fog - wow!

I'm loving the frozen garments on the line :-) - I bet they brought tears to the eyes when you put 'em on.

Cliff - I thought about walking up the hill in bare feet just to get people wondering but then thought better of it. It wasn't too bad for two minutes in the back garden going to the garage...until I got back inside and they warmed up. (garage is up a steep slope which we foolishlly hadn't gritted and I couldn't get up it in boots or trainers after the 'thaw' so had to resort to bare feet..some people are just born stupid.

Cheers
