No such luck

The safari had no luck with the Green Woodpecker yesterday morning and hasn't been out since. Below are some shots from the cemetery of a Starling singing and preening and a Blackbird that was getting loads of worms out of a wet patch, probably very thankfully after all the freezing weather recently.

Did you notice the rarity? BLUE SKY!!!
Pool lost in the footy, England lost in the rugby, Everton lost mid week, Frank up and down in discomfort every hour during the night - all in all not a good weekend...and we coulda gone quarrybashing in the Land Rover today but hands are just too sore with the change in the weather.
Where to next? The same little but more from patch 2 hopefully - it's hotting up out there.
In the meantime let us know how well you've been doing in your outback this week.

Thanks Warren little consolation after Everton lost too - not a good weekend and a 12 hour day to look forward to tomorrow
