Orchids from the other side of the world

The Safari was intrigued by some of the Aussie orchids. some were quite similar(ish) to our own but others were rather different!
Cowslip Orchid
 Pink Fairies
 Rabbit Orchid
 Unknown
 Snail Orchid

 Leaping Spider Orchid

There were more to come out particularly near the Rabbit Orchids and we look forward to learning what they are going to turn out like.
No real local news today apart from a pair of Common Scoters sitting nice and close for a change and showing well in the morning sun...yes SUN! And what was probably a Wigeon out with the scoters at tremendous range, unusual to see one that far out but if it wasn't one what could it have been instead. A few Meadow Pipits passed overhead.
Where to next? One week back tomorrow so it'll probably be your last offering of Aussie wildlife as we've nearly worked through all our pics.
In the meantime let us know what the orchids are like in your outback.
