Too bee or not to bee

The Safari got out  to the prom early doors...not a lot happening sadly as the visibility was good and the sea not to choppy. All we had in an hour were a dozen or so scattered Gannets and a small flock of distant Common Scoters with one more sat close in. A Pied Wagtail called overhead but little else was happening. No sign of anything mammalian at all.
The greater part of the remainder of the day was spent titivating the garden in warm sunshine. Whilst working we noted many bees of several species, several Blue Tailed Damselfies, a Holly Blue butterfly with two Large Whites and two Speckled Woods.
Later on a really bright and shiny Ruby Tailed Wasp prowled the garage wall.
We grabbed the camera with little success, most of our subjects were too warm and too jumpy to get near.
These are best of a lot of deletes...

Aquilegia anthers
Not sure if the next few are Cuckoo bees due to the smokey wings.

Coming in to land tongue at the ready

Where to next? Back to Patch 2 tomorrow with easterly winds the sea should be nice and flat...
In the meantime let us know who's 'bee'n busy in your outback.
